Why childcare centres should use colour coded sets
Prevents Cross-Contamination: Color-coded sheets help prevent cross-contamination. For example, if a child with a contagious illness is in a room with blue sheets, childcare workers can quickly identify and wash those sheets immediately, reducing the risk of spreading germs to other areas.
Identifies Individual Needs: Different coloured bibs, blankets, and sheets can be used to distinguish each child. For instance, a child with special needs or allergies can be assigned a unique colour, allowing childcare workers to easily and quickly identify and accommodate their specific requirements.
